I love to read hints that make life easier.  While you are relaxing at home, this is a neat

list of ideas that might help you out sometime.

Rubber band around open paint can to wipe your brush on

Rub walnut on damaged wooden furniture to cover dings

Cut open toilet paper rolls and use as cuff around wrapping paper roll to keep it rolled

Use hanging shoe rack to store cleaning supplies

Use tooth paste to clear up hazy car headlights

Turn an old plastic bottle into a simple little cord holder

To get built up residue off your shower head, tie a baggy of vinegar around a shower head.  Leave it over night 

Turn an old cd spindle into a bagel tote

Place wooden spoon across boiling pot of water to keep it from boiling over

Hold book open with a pants hanger

Put pancake mix in catsup bottle for no mess

Put straw through tab of can to keep it from rising out of your drink

For crunchy taco shells, turn muffin pans upside down, spray with cooking oil and bake tortillas between the bottom circles for about 10 minutes at 375

Put cords inside toilet paper rolls

Use bread tab to hold spot on roll of tape

If you're at hotel and run out of chargers, the tv usually has a usb plugin

Carry several plastic grocery bags on a key holder

To stop receiving marketing email, filter by the word "unsubscribe"

Use an accented letter as your passcode

Use big clips on table edge and hang computer cords on them

Use a squeeze ketchup bottle top with your shop vac to clean keyboard, or other small device

Do something unusual when locking door before long trip to remember you really did it

When heating leftovers, space out a circle in middle, it will heat up more evenly

To light a candle in a hard to reach place, use a stick of spaghetti and light wick with that

Put a small amount of water in a glass in microwave with pizza to keep crust from getting chewy

Use spring from old pen to keep charger from bending and breaking

Use magnet to find nails and studs in your wall

After popping microwave popcorn, separate the opening of bag just enough for kernels to fall out and shake  upside down over bowl or trash

Use pencil or sunglass case to store cables in backpack or suitcase

No cup holder?  Set drink cup in your shoe

Use clothespin to hold nail while hammering

A frozen, saturated sponge in a zip lock bag makes  an icepack that won't drip when it melts

Push popsicle through a cupcake paper to catch drips

Use upside down Scoop fastened to wall to hold pens or pencils

Tie extension cords together and they won't separate

Use bread clips to label and organize power cords

How to clean your cookie sheets--Kitchen "Miracle" Cleaner! You put about 1/4 cup of baking soda in a small glass bowl and squirt in hydrogen peroxide until it makes a nice paste. Then you rub it on the offending dirt/stain/grease...whatever!
